Here is the last update for 2005, the rear handrails (Mk 5!!) have been
fitted along with the external light fittings. Now comes the electricians
nightmare! All this wiring has to be buried in the structure and connected
to a single, double pole double throw centre off, switch in the cabin. It
looks worse than it is as I have kept a diagram with all the colours of
the wires noted ( assuming that I don't lose the drawing!!!). The
waterproof lights are built using LED's as once the wires are fitted I
don't want to try to replace a filament bulb! The blue lights flash and
the white lights operate depending upon the direction of travel.
