condensor outlet

hi Allan here, would you recommend the outlet on the condenser run up the outside of  the funnel or inside it. i am  testing my macksteam boiler and twin oscillator 3/8 bore 1/2 stroke got issues with gas pressure at the moment but will come back with more details when more tests are done my first time with steam but already addictive to the oily stuff thanks Allan

Hi Allan,
And welcome to the world of steam boats, personally i would run the exhaust from the steam oil seperator up the inside of the smoke stack, mainly because it is cleaner and will give you a very nice plume of steam comming from the funnel rather than from a pipe externally.

Hi Allan, a warm welcome from London. I agree with Ian, making sure the steam enters the chimney at an upward angle.

Yup that way the exhaust encourages the draught through the boiler.
