Hi
We sell all the spares plus the the Radio sets on Mode 1 (left stick is a ratchet which is easily changed to Mode 2 with the spring converter at £1.75.
Plus the receiver on its own too. www.huntersystems.co.uk
As for being an unknown set - actually Twister which is the parent Company has been in the RC market for many years.

Hello excuse me for asking what must seem a stupid question, but I have a Planet 5, which is Mode1 and I want to change it to 2. Now in the (Excellent) little book it explains where the relevant switch is( Wow isn't it little!!) but how do I get the spring from one stick to the other? I cannot even see a spring on the Gimbals, let alone change it over! The Ratchet is obvious, and no trouble, but the springs????? Anyone done this? I really should have asked for a mode 2 set!1

you had better get your magnifying glass out and a pair of long nose pliers , its a fiddly thing but it can be done .
You could allways cheat and just put a ratchet clip in and leave the spring there , it worked on mine .

Thanks, will try that! now another silly question! I want to mount the Rx in the Wheelhouse of my boat, to get it as far as possible above the water, Now, fitting it so the Aerial is veritical is not possible, but it will fit laying on its back, this OK?, I know it should be, but as a certain Comedian once said, " I only asked!!"

As long as the aerial is above water you shouldn't have any problems. Most of my 2.4gig aerials are not vertical. You may lose some range but in my experience this will not be an issue unless you normally use binoculars to follow your boat when its on the water %%

PS I don't have a Planet 5, but Spektrum and Giant Cod are OK.

You can keep your Tx aerial horizontal as well for max efficiency And fold it side on to your model if possible

I have 2.4 ghz in all of my model boats (18), mostly the receivers are flat in the hull somewhere and work perfectly as far as I can see the boat  :-)
