2.4ghz in my airboat?
« on: April 30, 2010, 09:54:09 am »

I'm presuming that my GiantCod 2.4ghz radio will be ok to use in my airboat? The rx is set above the waterline with the little aerial wire at about 45 degrees as I can't get it vertical unless I poke it out through the deck, which I suppose I could do...run it up a short plastic tube and put a plastic cap over the end.

I can't see why it won't be ok, but I'd welcome some input before I complete the installation...

Should be, they've been using them in model aeroplanes for years.

With the Planet 5 (The Same ?) i have found it does not matter what angle the ant is  ok2  As for range if you can see it you can normally control it  ;)
