Okay so I know the build of the first new oscillator the Cirrus is still not totally completed yet. The engines are finished but the rest of the boiler options still need to be posted on the Cirrus thread.

Here's yet another new oscillator engine project. This is a slightly bigger engine than the Cirrus, we call the Stratus. The Stratus is a inline twin cylinder engine and will be intended for use in larger models.

Nick, you really are taking up where Cheddar left off, and moving the whole game forward.

I can't wait to see the finished engine.

Now if I could only move our shop over to Cheddar's lovely facility I would be a very happy man! I wish Cheddar was still around because I would camp outside their shop until they got sick of it and offered me a job.

I'll post more picture as the engine progresses.

If sales and support allow us to grow some more then the next two new engines due to arrive are bound to get some real attention. I'm not saying this is true at this time but one of them could be something like a self starting miniature compound that's about the same size as the Heron engines. I neither confirm or deny that at this time.

If you were to move your shop to Cheddar then I would be a frequent visitor, as I once was at the Cheddar factory, as it is / was only 20 minutes drive from my house.

Ahh well, what's past is past. I'm very interested to see what the near future holds

So you're not planning to use the same cylinders as on the Cirrus? Form an economical standpoint, it should be more efficient for you to use them instead of making different ones. And also use the same Scotch yoke pump for it.
This should be another interesting topic.

Actually ,this engine can use the same cylinders as the Cirrus if need be. The Stratus engine is receiving larger cylinders since it will be intended for powering larger models than the Cirrus engines. Also there will be no water pump built into this engine. A water pump kit may become available at a later date if someone would like to add one to their engine. I'm trying to keep this engine simple.
