Well it does say Beginners Start Here
« on: March 04, 2011, 02:31:50 pm »

So here we go  :-)

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to RC boating having just taken delivery of my second boat. It's a Graupner Ti Amo and had it's first outing 2 days ago which ended up being much shorter than I'd intended. I hadn't realised the battery wasn't fully charged as the charger had blown the fuse in the plug. The stranded boat was rescued without problems and now looking forward to a few more (and longer) runs this weekend.

Based in Chertsey, Surrey and of an age where I'm enjoying my third childhood. Possibly looking to join a local club but initially more interested in finding a definitive list of places reasonably local to me where I can use the boat. I have tried Googling but been unable to find a complete list. I was hoping a few people on here might be able to help.

Many thanks
Jim

Cheers for that. Oddly enough his name came up over the weekend. Seems he's a good friend of someone I know.
