Smoke generator help

Hey guys just brought my new boat a caldercraft Clyde puffer or north light what ever people no it by I'm looking at running a smoke generator but don't no what type I need to get nor do I understand how they work, another question guys what motor would u advise running a Clyde puffer/north light on

There are two types of smoke generators. The first uses a hot element to heat oil. This can be fed by dropping a few drops of oil in. The bigger one uses a tank to drip oil in. the smoke does linger quite well .they do take more amps than a fogger type. This uses cold water to run and works by using a diaprahm to vibrate water to produce a mist, like steam but cold. They use less juice but run on 24v as a rule. MMb sell them. The choice is of course yours . I prefer the misters as depending on water capacity they will run for an hr or more. If you use the search facility you can find a lot more information. John.
