Will you be wearing a carnation and carrying a copy of The Times? ( or Model Boats would be more appropriate ) so we can all see you easily.... :-) :-) :-)

Never mind fish'n'chips, Martin. There used to be a great oyster bar on the front. Just remember to check that they twitch when you squeeze the lemon on them. And anyway, there's still no chippie to touch Brian's of Far Headingley.

If anyone has any close ups of the little Liverpool between Neil's Field Marshal and Mrs Smuts and the Flying Christine I would greatly appreciate it.

I'll do some of that for you andrew tomorrow when I go down to the show.

speaking of the show, can anyone enlighten me as to who the judges were and whether theywere MPBA affiliated judges..........

as I was standing there one rather bossy "young" lady who had already told me in no uncertain manner that I hadn't filled my form in correctly and that documentation was imperative for the judges, then was heard to say.........."how can we judge boats like this that are full of dust"........

I just wonder whether she has produced any boats of technical brilliance herself..........I haven't a clue who's these boats were that were full of dust, {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) {-) but they were also dripping with water too, AND  had a grab rope hanging off that  had just been ripped off on the pool as they had just been on the water..........does this dripping water and battle scars also count against a boat when judging...... {:-{ {:-{ {:-{ {:-{ <:( <:( <:( <:( <:(

After hearing that I am more than ever convinced that judging at shows by anyone other than hired professional judges is a total FARCE
