Hi All,

I happened to come across your forum whilst rooting around in Google looking for info on this wonderful model. Although I have no connection with model boating I do have a connection with Blue Leopard, my late father was a boat builder working for William Osborne and yes he was involved in the construction of this magnificent yacht! Born in Rope Walk, Littlehampton Dad was destined to become involved in boats and from a very young age could always be found in Osborne's yard at every opportunity. He served his apprenticeship and was there for many years learning his craft and was susequently headhunted by Northshore Yachts at Itchenor. Later in his career he became GM for Camper and Nicholson, Littlehampton Division.

Anyway the reason for joining the forum was to offer any model owners or enthusiasts a copy of some photographs I have of her during construction and launch in 1963. I am sure any enthusiasts would appreciate having these and enjoy looking at them as I have.

I hope I do not break forum rules by adding my email address (stevepb1@******* and will be happy to pass on the wonderful pictures.

Regards,
Steve.
