Simple steam boat made from odd bits
« on: January 03, 2013, 10:42:24 am »

This project started life as a junk shop hull and a box full of steam engine parts. New to steam boats at the time I wanted to get my head around what would work in boiler engine prop combinations.
Its not pretty but I have learned a lot.

That's really good.  I do like that.

You might have encouraged me to have a go myself.     :-))

Cheers

I recognise the boat from the mamod forum. Im currently experimenting myself with steam trying to develop a half decent engine for use in a tug. I agree with kenny its very encouraging especially for people like me on a bit of a budget.
