Hello

As I decided to build a Joffre tug kit I think about propulsion now. First I didn't intend to build another livesteam model due to economical reasons. But then I came accross the Miniature Steam Models MSM plant which is itended for Joffre and look very tempting to me. http://www.miniaturesteammodels.com/prod745.htm Having built models with engines from Cheddar, Regner, and Anton I have quite some experience and all of the manufacturer have benefits and drawbacks.
I consider MSM as rather expensive and I know there had been discussions about the design and costs of these engines here before. I don't want to bring up this again. Anyway,
what I couldn't find are postings about experiences with the MSM engines.
Any reviews are much appreciated and will help to make a decision wheter to buy this engine or not.

Thanks!
Best regards
Kaspar

Hi Kaspar, I have the minature steam 3 1/2 inch boiler, and it's very good. I live in Australia where they are made, and have had top service from them with any queries that came up.
I also woulod like to know how their engines stack up against the opposition.
I believe there is a review in Model Boat Magazine recently, or maybe in the short future.
