Hi, looks like a decent forum plenty of contributors so hopefully a friendly helpful bunch of like minded people. I started building model boats in the late sixties later on when R/C became less expensive I started to build for pleasure and playtime, have done a few competitions, and have build most types of boats, one or two kits but mainly from just plans, now I have more time and space I am starting a two meter model of the "Bismarck" I didn't realize it was so popular
I do intend to sail it when done so a lot of work hidden away, so I hope to learn about the modern way of building models, as my "Cascamite" days are a bit old fashioned. FF
