Having covered everything in my workshop / office too many times in a fine layer of dust, I saw folks using a downdraft table on YouTube, and have just built one.
This measures 600 x 300mm. Built from 6mm mdf, with 6mm mdf pegboard as the top surface. 3D printed the vacuum connector.
Works really well. Bit loud in use when vacuum is running but vacuum has a power pass through so only on when sander or rotary tool is on. Otherwise just put some earphones in...
Very importantly keeps wife happier too as less dust, so thought I'd share...
