any body got sky tv yet  thinking about it but what dose this mean and can you use headpphones with it not blue tooth    content must be optimised to exprince dolby sound thanks    regiment

Thought you did might be too slow  for HD/Dolby example I seldom watch live TV  bar daytime I record or use catch up to record a lot via Sky to record  always  HD it  would be about half hour plus before I could  begin to watch it and takes almost twice the time of the transmitted programme more if its in Dolby surround. Standard you can watch almost right away BUT no Dolby.

Sky also has a Streaming box which you plug into your existing tv  which does similar to sky glass

There is always a catch... 

You can fast forward content (Adverts etc) exactly as all other Sky subscriptions for 12 months and then with Glass you have to pay £5 a month if you want to continue skipping the adverts !
"includes Ad Skipping Add On which allows you to fast forward ads (£0pm for 12 months then £5pm)"

A subscription allows 3 Glass TVs plus up to 6 ordinary TVs, each ordinary TV requires a "Puck" module at £50 each.

Read those T&Cs very carefully.

If you are an existing Sky Subscriber & you change your package - which means a new contract - you will automatically loose your free legacy F1 add on and the only way to get it back is to buy the complete Sky Sports package.

This makes changing to Glass or Sky Q very expensive if you want F1!

Sorry, quite correct Nemesis, £3 a week, BUT only £1.50 a week if you're registered BLIND. I wonder how much the subscription channels pay for the 'Privilege' of relaying terrestrial programmes?
