I was in Howes yesterday talking with the boss there, he told me that Component Shop had taken over the stock from MFA Como - I mentioned that I had read that a week or so ago and he was surprised that I already knew!

That would be really good news if it means that they are going to keep sourcing stock rather than just buying up remaining stock..

Being positive I wonder if the intention is be to keep the full catalogue.

Component shop  have already added the MFC Como motors to their catalogue, until now most motors were unbranded.

Having just spoken to Iain myself I can confirm he has indeed bought Mfa and the motors will be available directly off Component shop and any of their traders ...Also the grp hulls will be available in due course through Adam Mountfield

This is good news, I have always had excellent service from the Component Shop.

I ordered an ACTion Electronics Fuse Board and Power Distribution Board from them yesterday (Monday 8th.) just after  15:00, and I was emailed the invoice and delivery note within the hour. The package was delivered today (Tuesday 9th.) at 14:00 by Royal Mail.

Can't get better service than that!

Cheers,

Mike
