   I'm trying to post an image for someone to see but when I hit 'post' I just get a message come up  The message body has been left empty.
 even though the file (jpg 120k) is shown as attached?  What on earth am I doing wrong? can some one walk me through it please?

You are not doing anything wrong. The image server host of the "attachment" files has been throttling back for days. I didn't manage to attach a 150kB jpg photo on Monday evening. Sometimes I've found waiting an hour sorts it, sometimes separating text & photo has worked. ImgBB or pointing to one in your own host is an alternative.

I can see that image fine but am still not able to see those on DJWs Riva build thread, either on my tablet or PC.

DJW's photos are hosted on modelboatmayhemimages.co.uk
Your anti-tracking security setting blocks the download of cross-site images on a forum page. It is treated as a potential Web bug. If you click on this link it should
show one of DJW's photos https://modelboatmayhemimages.co.uk/images/2024/11/10/1000016370.jpg
A fix will likely be to add the image host url to a whitelist.

John's problem, shared with others, was the the host was on an intermittent go-slow/down tools.
