I have a very nice 50inch Windermere steam launch with a Crompton Boiler and a Super Minitwin cylinder engine.

The leaflet with the engine says that it was to be used for Modeens latest steamboat kit the "Lady Ann" a 50" Launch....... Qustion is , Is this the Lady Ann by Modeen ?
Any pictures or details would be of great use.

Hi I have one that is almost identical with crompton boiler and supertwin engine the only difference is tops of cabin windows are curved otherwise it is identical I am like you I would like to know if it is the lady ann the only thing that I had with it is a leaflet about the crompton boiler from modeen marine steam models.I will take a photo of it and post it here so you can compare them cheers John

Cheers, In conversations at various shows it seems to be thought that it is the Lady Ann , however I have not yet seen another exactly the same yet.

She sails very nicely.
