Hello Peter
They were made in the coventry area, nor sure were, but reputed to be of very high quality. Peter can I ring you? maybe you would like to  come to our club, when its not frozen, The local vandels have littered the frozen lake with bricks from a nearby building site and also a 1/2 cwt block of concrete.

I'm pretty sure Finescale used to make the boilers and gas tanks for Mike Legg at SVS. I remember visiting Mike at his workshop and also Finescale, who were not too far away.

Not much help really....

I'll get me coat!
