Another sad loss to the world of music. Legendary rock guitarist, Gary Moore - from Thin Lizzy fame - was found dead in his hotel room.
R.I.P.

Truly one of the worlds best, most influential Guitarists. A man who's career has been fantastic throughout.

I think I know exactly what you mean. I can still hardly believe that the poor dude is actually dead. Gary Moore had been a HUGE influence on me over the years - and millions of other folk - and already it feels like the world is a far worse place without him. In fact, I'm still going around like a zombie - really struggling to come to terms with the fact that he's no longer with us. He was just a mere 58-yrs-old, dammit. And to think that I was blasting out his "Walking By Myself" in the shed just this afternoon.
See you around, Garr. And if you're up there earwigging, thanks a million for all that you taught me.

Incidentally, apart from the fact that they're both dead now, does anybody know the connection between Gary Moore and Gary Holten (aka "Wayne") of 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' fame?

Was going to say The Heavy Metal Kids, but not sure if Gary Moore ever worked with them,(unless you count Thin Lizzy suporting Heavy Metal Kids at the Roundhouse, the other slightly dubious link is Jimmy Nail as Gary More did work with him on his albums, and Gary Holten worked with him in 'Auf Wiedersehen.
John Altman is now singing with the Heavy Metal Kids btw. and Him and Holten were mates and stared in Quadrophenia.

Never heard of him,

Damn fine suggestions, but unfortunately still not the correct answer. To give any hint of a clue would most likely give the game away, but don't give up giving up just yet. As far as I'm aware, Tiger-Tiger is the only bloke so far who knows the answer.
They say that ignorance is bliss. Sadly, I see that the Mk2 version is equally as ignorant as the Wullie Mk1 - ergo the lucky fellow must be the most blissful person on the planet.

It wasn't Glenys, although I wouldn't be surprised.

Found another sort of link, and it ties in quite well with comments on MPs and Bank Managers {-)
I have sent PMK a message to see if its the same link he knows
