Just to "add" a little info, Ive just recieved delivery of a hull kit from models by design, along with a fitting kit, and they actually supply "metcalf mouldings" kits , so save you a bit of a "round the houses", may be worth simply ordering a fitting kit off Dave @ Metcalf.
Postage pirce may be a bit high, as ive just weighed the fittings box and its almost 1kg in weight!
But contains a selection of rail stanchions, base fittings, radar unit, bollards, anchor and associated bits, aerial bases, rail wire adjusters, steering wheel nav lights, and quite a fair bit more and thats without opening the seperate packets and actually looking properly. All white metal items and very little "flash" to remove either.

Hi all,
Sorry to be negative on my first post but a couple of years back when I bought my Mersey mouldings and fittings from Models by Design I didn't recognise the fittings as being for a Mersey. They looked to me as if they belonged to the Alice Upjohn. I phoned the guy at Models by Design who told me they were made by David Metcalfe. When I phoned David Metcalfe I expected to be told I had been supplied the wrong kit but he told me the kit was the same for both models. Well they didn't match anything that was on the Dungeness boat as far as I could see. Model by Design gave me my money back without any hesitation. Shame because they were nice castings.
