Hi, first post, in N. Virginia.

My interest is in all types of very small boats suitable for 1:13.7 scale (or could be 1:12, not fussy). I built an outside railway to that scale and in process of building portage boat trains to haul the boats. I also have a series of canals and a big aqueduct in the backyard that is suitable for floating boats on. Planning a large boat house as well.

For full scale boats, I use a folbot sea kayak, 17'. When I was a kid back in 60s built a sectional fiberglass canoe.

Also have 2 beagles.

I'll try and post a picture of a recently completed punt

I consider myself a beginner

Very nice. Welcome to Mayhem. I'm sure the members would be only to happy to help you in your quest.

1:12 scale is popular over here for building Lifeboats to scale. These would probably be to large for your site as they are quite big and heavy. Maybe a small rescue dinghy might do the job.

I liked the sound of running water. Nice and peaceful   :}
