Never mind fish'n'chips, Martin. There used to be a great oyster bar on the front.
Good god man, you are not suggesting that boats should be used with and put into Water !!! What ever next :}
I thought they were complaining that the dust wasnt to scale Neil? I did say that you had made the dust also, and not many people could say that! LOL

Which boat was yours Neil and what stand was it on?
... I'll look to see what photos I took...
Hi Martin........they were on the Lifeboat Enthusiast stand, that we chatted at, on Saturday afternoon.
Two were on the left hand side of Rob's "rocking lifeboat" with the winning boat the left hand one of the two, and one was on the right hand side of it.
neil.
Well we've just got home!
We went to Blue Planet aquarium today (Ellesmere port), excellent, worth a visit.... but that was after another 3 (Three!) times over
the Runcorn bridge. Yes it's still impressive and with the mist this morning, it looked like it was going straight up to the stars... but 5 times
over the same bridge, in 12 hours is a bit much!
Neither, my satnav, smart phone, wife or the road signs seemed to know how the roads work around Widnes,we just went round and round
until we just made a guess and headed for the motorway.... after another U turn at the next junction, we we're on the right road to Chester!
..... ahhhhhh. no place like home.... sort of! ok2
Show photos to follow....
Is she one of these boats Neil?
The traffic jam on Blackpool seafront was extraordinarily bad - it took us hours to travel just over a mile! >>:-(
We've never seen so many chippies, Kebab shops or slappers out a Saturday night .....er....ever!
Good shop I thought, great venue, very busy! Well done Mark (A Model World) et al!
Great photos already chaps, thanks. Mine to follow as soon as my feet stop burning!
Martin
PS. We're staying Widnes tonight. Couldn't find the hotel so we took the midnight tour of Runcorn and Widnes..... 3 times be fore we fount it... drove past it twice but couldn't find the entrance road!!!
PPS. Rottweller, found that chippy .... but couldn't park with 10 miles of the place!!!
PPPS. Any of you know the Runcorn bridge? VERY impressive at night!

Couple more...
behind the steel bridge you can just make out the railway bridge which carries the Liverpool-Crewe-London line.
....I think that's my hair net!
