The Black Park Model boat Club regatta on the 2nd of September this year will feature an original display of material from the 1980's Falklands Display Group, along with models from the era. This will be in addition to our own display and many visiting clubs.
There will be 16 feet of table space and a dedicated Gazebo. In addition we are inviting Help for Heroes to fund raise on the day and the club will be making a presentation to them. The event is free, has excellent parking and a lake side café. For those travelling a distance there is reasonably priced accommodation nearby.
I am inviting anyone who wishes to participate, particularly with models static or sailing, to let me know and everyone is welcome on the day.
