Hi, as anyone got one of these 6 channel 2.4ghz sets? my missus bought me one as a surprise gift and the instructions are useless. I know it's really for r/c planes but I cannot set it up no matter how many variations on a theme I try. The instructions and diagrams do not even show where on the receiver you plug in the lead from the speed controller or the battery. At the moment I only need a 2 channel set up so I thought it was going to be fairly straight forward swap around.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Chris.

I have the 4 Channel Tx with the return spring on the Right Hand vertical stick. For this configuration I use the Right hand stick for both Rudder and Throttle. In my set up Rudder Servo goes to Channel 1, Throttle to Channel 2.
Hope this helps. The first 4 channels of your 6 channel set should be the same as my 4 channel.

If the ratchet is on LH Stick then Ch 1 on the receiver is Rudder
Ch 3 is esc.
If your ESC is fitted with a BEC battery eliminator circuit you don't need a battery
If you need to connect a battery then Chann 7 is designated Battery but any channel will do

Thank you gents,
I've also found some details on how to set it up on the GiantCod website forum. The original instructions are useless to say the least.
I'll follow your advice.
Thanks
Chris
