Hi guys, my Mum has been super kind to me and bought me Planet T5 TX and RX. :D Now, from what I can figure the throttle (left stick) is non centering, is this correct? Also, I found out that there is a arm and spring set, is this to centre the throttle stick? Sorry to sound dumb about this but I am fairly new to all this so am trying to figure out what is what. I also need some rechargeable battery packs, which ones do I need? Also how about a charger, I have a Futaba charger will that work? Like I said a bit of a novice regarding all this gizmos, got a basic cheapo TX and RX abd that has 8 rechargeable batteries in it, when I plug the futaba charger into the socket the light on charger goes green...if it chargers the batteries is another matter.
Thanks.
Si:)

Yes you are correct as standard the throttle is on a ratchet .the optional spring conversion kit is for changing the throttle stick to self centre .as for batteries standard AA rechargeable's are more than ample for these sets complete with standard charger :-))

It is easy to fit, should take about 15 mins.

I have had one for a couple of years. Still trying to figure out how to fit it (no instructions).
The spring is supposed to hook into something deep underneath? Need a crochet hook or something!

Please bear in mind that the POLARITY of the socket on the T5 is reversed to other makes of transmitter.
The earth is the centre wire pin !!!!!!! Unlike the others which are Positive
Hope this helps

Just to be awkward...so, what might be simpler is to get 8 AA rechargable batteries and just use a charger-4 in the TX and then have 4 spare.
Thanks Ken, and big thanks to all the other guys, may get the spring arm and see if a club member can do it, I have got no chance with my dodgy hands :D

Cheers Jason for the link, however at Hunters you have to order £10 min :((

Bought one for £7 off fleabay...also got 6 nectar points so the wife will be happy...maybe...hopefully...probably not.
I know Hunters is cheaper but when you have to spend a teener min it was pointless as there was nothing else I wanted.
