Kirklees Model Boat Club will be holding its annual steam and Mountfleet Open day on  Sunday 27 April. Event location Wilton Park Batley More information to follow in March.

I can confirm that Kirklees Model Boat Club will be staging the Steam and Mountfleet Models Open Day on Sunday 27th April 2014 at Wilton Park Bradford Road Batley WF17 8JH from 9.30 a.m. until approx. 3.30 p.m.  Free parking, refreshments, competition for best Mountfleet Model and steam model.  Mountfleet Models will be in attendance.  If you have any questions about testing of your steam plant can you please contact me via the club website at www.kirkleesmodelboatclub.org.uk and I will pass your message on.  Again if you need a boiler test I need to know and I can then pass on your e-mail.  Valid paperwork for boiler if required.  This event is open to other types of models and if you just want to come and have a sail you will be welcome, the exceptions being IC and high performance fast electrics.
