Hi anyone know where to get any 3/16 wide boiler banding in stainless steel i have tried  the usual ,polly and macc models ect  thanks if you can help kind regards Allan.

Mallard Metals sell thin SS sheet from which you could cut your own but SS banding appears to be like hens' teeth.

Thanks Barry no luck with them but found some stainless steel tie raps i think will do so ordered some will see how they look but thanks anyway ,regards Allan

Allan,
If the tie wraps don't do the job try and get a cheap Stainless steel pedal bin, Tesco has small ones at about £5, when openned out they can be cut with a large pair of scissors, they are normaly .015" thk.
I laggad the boiler of my tug with stainless steel from a large bin from Tesco which had a large dent in it and negotiated with the floor manager and bought it for £10.

Stainless steel tie wraps came today look great under £4.00 for 20 delivered and large enough for a 4"dia boiler thanks everyone ,regards Allan

Hi  Barry got them on ebay from a company called trtools or you can just search stainless steel ties on ebay or google ,I got 20- 300mm x4.6mm delivered for £3.23 hope this helps regards Allan
