According to the radio news he was going to Finland, so perhaps it was the long way round if it headed west?  :-)

I understand that by Presidential directive, the aircraft is now to be referred to as Trump 1.

Here is mine its been fantastic all the  time as far back as the Meteor build. Picture quality isn't great as I had to use a mirror to take the picture. What clear long shot of AF 1 unbelievable for a pocket camera

It seems someone took exception to my reply, obviously Donald Trump appeals to them more than me! thank you moderator, free speech fails again.

Seeing as 747's are going out of production i wonder what they will use next when this becomes too old?

The current planes are being replaced by two more 747s, see:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/trump-strikes-39b-deal-for-air-force-one-replacement-planes
Although the airframe is now an old design the 747s are very strong aircraft with the capacity to accommodate the specialist fitout needed for airborne command posts and defensive capabilities. Multiple engines provide redundancy in case of damage.

that SX range, for what they are, are brilliant cameras.....I had an SX 260HS  and lost it up in the lake district so replaced it with another 260, and lent to my daughter when she joined the merch, and bought this one the 720 hs.

they do a lot that much more expensive dslr's do at half the price.
