I bought some Zap foam safe odourless recently (I'm allergic to ordinary cyano) and there is a sticker on the bottle which says that to cure properly Zap foam safe kicker must be used with it.
Does anyone know if other brands of kicker can be used or are they particular to each manufacturer?
Thanks,
Colin

Looking at your wording above, I would assume not.
The odorless probably has a different formulations because it is both odorless and it says you need the kicker for it to cure properly. Ordinary CA does not require a kicker. This also suggests that if the kicker formulations are different, the kickers would be different too.
This is speculation I know.

Hi why not try a test piece if your happy with it thats ok Bill..

Yes, I will do that, but I don't want to crack the bottle untill I need to use it.
I have now got it on good authority that a kicker should not be strictly necessary (which I have found with two other odourless brands in the past) and yesterday, when in Squires at Bognor, I had a look at the DeLuxe Rocket Kicker which says on the bottle that it should work with most cyanos.
I have actually found DeLuxe SuperPhatic a good substitute. It does indeed work on different materials as the manufacturers say, provided that one is porous and being both odourless and water cleanup has a lot going for it.
