Title: Moebius 1:72 Skipjack R/C Conversion
Post by: graham2666 on July 28, 2017, 06:12:24 pm

Hi
I have just completed a 1:72 Skipjack using the Moebius kit.
Does anyone have any experience of the sub-driver 3.5 SD. I seem to be having problems in setting it up. Standard controls seem ok but no response from the SAS ballast system. Any help and advice would be much appreciated.
Happy to meet up and discuss if required. (Not to far from M4 would be good).
Thanks
Graham

It may be worth e mailing rcsubs.co.uk who are a fund of knowledge on their competitors products, Ron the MD is most helpful even if you did not get your system from R&R.

The SAS uses a Y cable between the servo that opens the vent and starts the pump. I needed to get a special cable that boosted the signal. To test if this is the case, try just the pump on the receiver to see if it works. Post a question to forum.sub-driver.com, the maker of that tube is there David Merriman.
