The International Model Boat Show is the only 3-day marine modelling exhibition dedicated to all aspects of marine modelling - an event not to be missed! It is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading marine modelling exhibitions and takes place from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th November at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.
Organisers are expecting 3000+ visitors, who will be able to enjoy in excess of 600 models from over 25 clubs and societies, where some of the finest marine models will be on display. The excellent and varied displays include everything from early warships to modern power boats – all of which will be complemented by action on the large indoor boating pool.
There will be more than 20 specialist suppliers present, offering visitors everything they could need for their boat and modelling needs and attendees will be able to view new technologies and buy newly available products.
Exhibitors will once again be vying for the prestigious ‘Society Shield’, which is voted for by the clubs and societies themselves and will be awarded to the best club display in the show – will King Lear Model Boat Club retain their title for a second year?
This year sees the introduction of a Tamiya Truckin display arena. This will integrate a very closely linked hobby to the core model boat show and also introduce a new selection of exhibitors and interests. The Tamiya Truckin team will be demonstrating and driving their 1/14 scale radio controlled models on a roadway system over 80 metres square. This fantastic arena will feature radio controlled 1/14 scale trucks, plant and machinery.
