I fitted mine in Exeter (Type 42 Destroyer) into a ply support and then fitted a tube (toilet roll centre) over the speaker to act as a sound box. Sorry I don't have a decent picture showing the tube fitted.

Bob,
Make a bespoke one from thin card. Cereal packet or card from an art shop or whatever you have. It doesn't have to be too robust unless you're planning on playing a recording of Joshua's trumpets {-) {-) {-) {-) {-)

I remember a gent who built a beautiful tug here in Maine. He mounted his speaker up-side down in the hull and used the hull as the resonance chamber. It worked very impressively. Much better than the traditional system we use. I might I have taken pictures, and if I find them I will post same.

found a speaker case with the cloth absorbing material, placed speakers in a cut out in a bulkhead, then let rip, the sound is awesome, going to try the inverted, once happy will take a snap or two.
