Not just a great thinker
"I have noticed even people who claim everything is predestined, and that we can do nothing to change it, look before they cross the road."

I do hope that now we have lost his brilliant brain, someone collects all his bon mots together. A wicked sense of humour as well as a genius, and someone who didn't take himself too seriously. Thank you Stephen Hawking.

Tried reading his 'Brief history of time' and was just way over us lesser mortals heads, so was glad he did a dumbed down version.... 'A briefer history of time'.....wow! The man was a genius.

RIP Mr Hawkins

he certainly was a true genius and great thinker, and his attributes and his compassion and giving to his fellow humans, even though suffering so much from an early life and age are truly magnanimous, and I class him as a modern Einstein, but at times his prophecies on the future of the world we live in left me feeling suicidal, seriously <:(

When asked about intelligent life on other worlds he responded that at times he had seen little evidence for intelligent life on earth.

When diagnosed with MND he was given three years to live, he had fifty years and it seemed to me the more his body deteriorated the brighter his mind got, the people who constantly moan about their life should try spending a day as Stephen Hawking, I had nothing but admiration for him.
