Title: another newby question
Post by: essexbill on May 09, 2018, 08:43:01 am
Might sound daft to some.
But if you don't ask you don't learn.
Do I put a fuse between the battery and each ESC or between the motors and the ESC.
I did say it was a daft question but I have just come off a 12 hour night shift.

Between battery and ESC.  The only time that fuses are useful beyond the ESC is when there is more than one motor.

But each motor has a separate ESC? If so you want a fuse between the battery & each ESC. eg 2 ESC each connected to one motor = 2 fuses - one between each ESC & the battery.

The fuse between the motor & ESC is only necessary if more than one motor is connected to one ESC.
