Anyone know what the MTroniks nomenclature?
I.E.
1. Mtroniks Viper Marine15 vs Mtroniks Viper Marine15 Plug'n'Play .... What's the difference?
2. Mtroniks Viper Marine25 Plug'n'Play vs Mtroniks Viper MarineSSR .... What's the difference?
3. Mtroniks G2 Hydra3xx ... Hydra = Brushless?
4. Mtroniks tio Marine50 .... What does "Tio" reference?

The standard Vipers require you to go through a setup procedure before use, on the plug'n'play ones the setup is automatic. SSR Vipers have symmetrical throttle response around neutral. Hydras are for brushless motors and Tios are programmable and can be used with LiPos.

When you're fed up with them not working or being able to remember how to program one swap it out for a Microgyro unit job done never worry again. :-))

I’ve always found Mtroniks products and customer service to be excellent.

You pays your money and makes your choice. I have used Mtroniks E S C from the very early days up to now and never had a problem with any products . Customer service is excellent. If the truth is known it does not matter whose E S C you buy someone will always find a fault.

Microgyros absolutely brilliant stuff but try and get hold of Michael is very difficult.

Stan is right, everyone has favourites, likeing one make doesn't mean that others are bad, just that each of us has a preference. I've never regretted using Mtronics, and I have been very glad they are waterproof. I hate the cheap Chinese ones that lie in their specifications, other people are OK about them.

Oh yes by all means i do have Mtroniks in a tug, each to there own with manufacturer choice of course.
When they work they work superbly for what they do and yes customer service from Mtroniks is always up there.
Send a esc back and they will replace it which is unheard of in this day and age.

Nothing wrong with Chinese Amps!
.... well truth-be-told, there's usually a Lot wrong with "Chinese Amps"!.... they seem to be on some of exponential scale .... in the wrong direction! >:-o

I thought Microgyros wasn't making / selling ESC any more?! {:-{
He had a flyer on his stand at the Leamington show last November saying that he was restarting his website and was releasing a new ESC for the smaller model. I can't get his website when I search though.

Model ferryboat sunk in May 2015, and then recovered when the pond was drained in February 2016.
That was nine months underwater. It was up to the pilot houses in 'duck schmuck', that's 26cm deep on that model.
The model was blasted clear by a 'helpful' civil worker and a his 2" firehose. %)
The ferry was a complete loss. motors seized, servos dead, receiver dead...
However, the Mtroniks ESC fired right up, and is back in another model and working today.
I have had two bad ESC, but Paul, at Mtroniks replaced them, no questions asked. Great Service.

I use Mtroniks almost exclusively, and have never had a problem with them. As value for money they are hard to beat.
