Hi am just starting out looking to get a yacht to learn with so I can race in the future, anyone around Tameside sail any boats?

I can recall some years ago model yachts where sailed at Stamford park in ashton in Tameside, not sure if they are sailed there now, I would suggest popping down there on a sunday morning to have a look.

we have a strong sail section at ETHEROW MODEL BOAT CLUB etherow country park compstal nr stockport.

 %) %) %) not a yachts man myself,we have j class, 1-metre,fiesta.
strongest days are Tuesday and Thursday about 10to 14 on lake.
