Q & A Stavros' Eldergarth Tug Build
« on: May 08, 2008, 07:32:20 pm »

Please post questions on Stavros' Eldergarth Tug Build Here.

Roger in France asked how much.....

£285 Bargain Quality................... SUPERB

Kicked the missus out and tug will sleep with me from now on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right I had better say this before I get accused of being biased.I have absolutely no connection with Scale Hobbies at all except being a customer,Steve has asked me to be blunt and straight to the point with any criticisms of his kit,any moans well his words not mine see the missus, let you think on that one.Seriously though I think you know me well enough on this forum now that I will not hold back on anything that is wrong with this kit let alone anyone Else's

So far me megga impressed

Stavros..I don't want to seem "picky" but I am sure I have heard the term "Z drive" applied to schottles and the like.

What part are you referring to?

Many thanks, Stavros.  Looks great and will watch the build with interest.  I wish I had know about this tug before I bought my latest one - from what you say about everything being included it is a bargain price.  O0

Hello Stavros!

How is your "Eldergarth" tug coming along? Any more photos you can post? I have the MMM 1/32 scale version of the same tug which is a lovely model; I'd be interested to see how the two models compare...

Cheers

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but did you manage to complete the Eldergarth boat? I am just building the same model and was wondering if you ran into any problems along the way?

Stavros isn't on the forum anymore.

It's pitty, because I've followed a couple of builds to see how they turn out (pick up some tips as we all do). But they never have ends to the build threads (Waverley Lifeboat).
