...Hi Guys...

I was planning a wee trip down to the event from Bonnie Scotland for the weekend but due to unforeseen circumstances I can no longer make the trip...

I hope you have plenty of fun & post lots of pictures...

I even had a  "Big Big Big"  Surprise !!! for you all, (Possibly, The Star Of The Show")

Alas it will have to wait until another Show...

I might just have to "Let the Cat out of the Bag" at Glasgow Richmond M.B.C. Open Day on Sunday...( Look out for Pictures)...If i manage to attend...All Will Be Revealed...

I enjoyed my first ever visit to the meeting and saw some terrific models - particularly the lifeboats and Ray111's 'personal' display - I wish I could make models like that.   :-\ ;) O0

A special award was given to Phil Abbott ( SteamboatPhil ) for services to
'Mayhem at Wicksteed Weekends' way above the call of duty.... and a thoroughly nice bloke to boot!

( Speedy recovery to Mrs Steamboat too. )

Tomorrow we'll tell you about the straight running competition!
Phil will never live it down! {-) {-) {-) {-)

After a long windy day but with lots of sunshine and bags good humour, Phil proposed a toast to all the
absent Mayhemers.  More tomorrow ZZZzzzzzz.........  :)

Roger,

Unfortunately, we seem to have inherited your weather today. It's persisting down here and has been for at least the last 3 hours. I only live 20 miles from Wicksteed bit I am doubtful about going in these conditions  :-\

Enjoy the Vin et Fromage never mind the pleut.

Doug

Not speaking to SWMBO who double booked me yesterday and stopped me going to Wicksteed  >>:-(

A big "Thank you" to Martin and Bradders for setting up another great Mayhem Weekend.

The setting up and organisation was first class. What a great time, with separate events, clearly running like clockwork. The 'straight running' competition was more difficult than it looks and was great fun. (why did mine go around in circle ?)

Here's to next year
