Thanks a lot for the video! Not many people like to get a camera in the face, but for us who couldn't get there it was great to get names and character to the faces and it made me smile. And all the fantastic boats in action! Seems like you had a great time, wish I could have come too! Please more of this if someone is sitting on a video.

Wish I was there.
Bit far to come, (and getting a bit long in the tooth) maybe one day if I'm spared.  The video made it for me I have been reading Mayhem for some time now (5days20hrs45min so it tells me) and its a real faovourite port of call. Well done Martin you have started something here.
I'm enjoying BY's reminises of life in the RFA many is the chuckle over recognisable little incidents.
Keep up the good work and I look in again tonight for the next installments.

We arrived back in Sydney, Australia about 5 hours ago from a wet and miserable London, and I'm a bit jet lagged after a 23 hour journey. However, I had to log on to Mayhem to see how things went at Wicksteed. I'm only sorry we couldn't organise it so I could have been there, but it was just not possible. It appears I missed a great weekend, although the bad weather eventually arrived there too, apparently. Some marvellous photos there lads, and well done to Martin and Bradders plus their helpers for what seems to have been a great event. I'm looking forward to getting back up north to home and my shed, after 14 weeks away, and into some boat building - I think I have withdrawal symptoms after being away from my shed for so long.
Regards to all,
Peter.

Stavros,

Great shot of the Yorkshireman #42 really atmospheric. Getting low on the water with the camera can provide some interesting shots.

Pity about the background though - still you cant have everything. :'(

Martin and fellow Mayhemmers

Sounds like a great outing, despite offending the weather gods on Sunday.

I had hoped to make a first appearance, and was madly square-rigging, but time ran out and my Social Advisor required my presence elsewhere.

This is how far I had got - she may well reach the water tomorrow at Burton after the Footy racing
