Mountfleet Osprey, with the help of the interweb, due to become a 1917 Flotilla Leader in black and grey and two guns. Purchased one of the Australian smokers ( very impressed) to put in during the build.
Then I must get on with the BK 1124 Tank Boat.

Not exactly 'building', just 'reconstructing'. O0
I recently acquired an elderly Pilot Boat (built 1982) in a bit of a sad state having been painted with several slabs of what looks like Dulux emulsion! Some parts are missing, the mast, windows, ventilators and mostly small deck bits. It has a GRP hull and ply deckhouse. It measures 72cm long x 28 wide. All it has inside is a motor. prop and shaft. It looks like a speedy hull.
I have started by stripping several layers of Dulux from the deckhouse and fitted a steering servo. Basically, I think with a decent paint and new small parts it will make a nice runabout.
One thing - can anyone help identify the kit?  Here 'she' is ............
Bob.

Now complete. Goes like the dogs!

That's a good effort you've made Sig, and those lattice masts can try the patience of a saint. ;D :-))

Your hull of Macedonian is sheer sculpture Jerry. I would be happy just to sit and look at the quality of the carpentry.

I am going to convert the hull plug of HMS Rupert into a model as I think she is not quite to scale and so useless as a plug (IMHO) So Achilles wil get put back a year.

Shorty, you might get a fuller response of you post on the Working Vessels page, where people who have built this kit might lurk.  Start a new topic called something like Caldercraft Coaster plans wanted.  Good luck.

I have been building a freelance tug, based on the looks of the New Castle RTR model ,but this is bigger I have used a fibre glass hull from thr Holmsider ,and raise the bulwarks forward, fitted a 4" kort and 5 bladed prop, the superstructure and decks are from 1/16th and 1/8th ply, she is nearly finished  and almost ready to get wet, I will post more pics later.    geo

I love that funnel-mast combo. Very sculptural. I bet it was a cowbag to make?
