speed boat rudders. Wher are they hiding?
« on: October 02, 2008, 09:22:34 pm »

So! Having gone through the trades directory and all the other websites I could find I am still none the wiser as to where I can buy a rudder, in aluminium, for a speed boat.
Rudders for tugs, ships and all other types of boat. some in brass, most in plastic, can be found all over the place.
Can some one please point me in the direction of a web shop that has metal speed boat rudders?
transom mounted, alu., about 8-10cm.

Easily - at the non-solid end  ::)
Mount the flexi in soft jaws supporting very near where you want to cut it, and cut through it SLOWLY with a fibre abrasive disk in your mini drill.  Do a bit, then leave to cool ...
If it "blues" then you've gone too fast (and probably b*gg*red it)  :o
