Don't see why not. A Hydro or one of your big petrol head boat might be a problem though!  %%

I'll be bringing a couple of IC straight (sic) runners that I might (ney will) sneak onto the water (Z class with out the radio--fun fun fun)

Re Tai Land (bad spelling) Bill, I have a meeting soon (still all hush hush you know----show no one the photo's, unless money changes hands and we have enough for a few beers)

Bit of an update on the straight runner, umm well it doesnt work....

Went up and down happily for a bit, then I decided it needed some left trim, gave it some and it went around in circles.

We then laughed for a good long while as it coontinued to go round in circles, with the chairmans minesweeper crashing into it, trying to knock it in the right direction (read crashing into it). After about 10 mins the battery went flat so we got it with the fishing rod

Worked well I thought {-)

Can we run this at Wicksteed please?

The jerkiness in the second part of the video is me running to safety, that is the first and only time you will see this phenomenon....

Further to my previous posting, as some of the Omra lads are bringing their hooligan Boats to Wicksted I believe Phil has volunteered this year to man the sticks and catch these little projectiles when they have a go at straight running................................Oh stop being mardy Phil we will have a collection for the fireproof vital protectors and asbestos gloves that you will need this year.

Oh Chingdevil,No Mustang mark and motley crew YOU ALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE there will be NO barbies lit on Stav's tables this year >......OK

Now re the BBQ, sausages with a smokey hint of Stav table is still by far the best taste  :-))

Sorry to say I will not be able to make it again. I am compelled to visit England in early May for a family day and again in June for the mother-in-law's 90th. So fitting in Wicksteed is just not on. Damn and blast, I was so looking forward to meeting you all in person.

However, the compensation is I have had a kind invite to a week of modelling and sailing by the French club in Roquefort sur Mere (not the cheese place!). They take over a set of chalets for a weeks accommodation and have various sailing and boat oriented events. Not sure I can go all week as my wife is not that keen! However, at 75€ for a chalet for the week it is great value.

Do they go straight and not catch fire now Phil? ;)

I like the sound of this barbie, I'll stoke it up a bit with some Nitromethane....

Might come along to your little boat week Roger, useless at French though. When is it?

Afternoon all!

Who's coming?

What do you want to see there?

Have you got any good ideas?

... what would you like to volunteer to help with?

Regards,
 Martin.  :-)
