Malcolm had me close to tears... so sad to hear of all that engineering skill being relegated to the bin. The page is absolutely bang on, but, alas, only serves to make me wish even more that I'd been born sooner.
Not only that, apart from all them millions of gorgeous wires and gadgetries, just look at all them wimmin there. I'm prettty damn sure I would have haved loved working for the GPO.
