Hi ya Don

Excellent video - its a shame there wasnt a bit more - because it just highlights what a splended job Martin and Bradders did.  I think the video is set to the perfect musically background setting - absolutely great.  It might encourage a good few more to turn up for the next Mayhem Bash  ;D

It makes you want to go back this Saturday/Sunday - what the hell can I do this weekend.

Nah - you haven't seen how much footage I had to throw away - about 15 mins of grass, sky and my feet - I left the camera switched on by mistake whilst I walked around  ;D

Mind you it recorded some interesting(?) conversations  :o

Bluebird and any others at a loose end come and see us at Alfold, help us raise money for charity (Merchant Seaman's War Memorial Society). What would you all have done last week if it wasn't for the seamen? NO cups of tea to start with.

Via Email;

Hi Martin, ..... Thanks for all you and the gang did to make it such an enjoyable and interesting day. All your hard work was much appreciated and the friendly atmosphere relaxed me enough to sail the Waverider and the St Canute,  honest  I did but you had to be quick to see them in the morning when it was reasonably quiet. However just to proove it here are some pictures.
Cheers Graham

Anyone got a harrier jet I can hire for the weekend  ;D

Hi folks, after a long period of absence... back again. (Some things in life you cannot control- they just steel your time).
Glad that you enjoyed the weekend, your weather wasn`t better than ours. But the distance from Germany was too long anyway for a short visit. Hopefully I can make it the next time.

Jörg!  We've missed you. Where have you been? Thought you'd been run over by a Springer tug or something!

Welsh Druid: Thanks for the video. Especially appreciated by those of us unable to attend the event.

Graham with the "Wave Rider": How old is your version? Mine is 40 years old and I assumed it to be the only remaining example. It gave me a buzz to see yours in action.

Hi Roger, Glad you enjoyed seeing another waverider. Mine is from about 1964 making it about 44 years old. But it took me a long time to build. I finished the build believe it or not in 1970. Well I did do other things in between. Tested it on the Gloucester canal without a radio and nearly lost it. Tested it in Birmingham with a radio and nearly lost it. So it survived the Mayhem well. It has a small elecric motor wich I am going to run off 12v now not six to get a bit more speed and get it to plane like they used to do when run with model plane engines. Chers Graham :)
