More info needed on the raboesch thrusters , and maybe wait for their updates if they are looking to update the padle's.
At the moment its either a ministeve model or replace the marx luder with a new unit ,
the diy option would be best if i had room  O0 .

UPDATE !
I have spoken the the nice chap at Cornwall M.B. about my dilema and he will talk direct to marx about  replacement parts which would save me the expence of buying the whole unit , this may also help both ways as most companys rely on feed back either positive or negative and future units may be built differently.
Expecting a reply next week.
But i cant grumble mine was second hand when i bought it and has been running for about five years  :o .
Oh and a big thanks to ministeve for the offer , later bud .

I've got a Robbe bow thruster on Aziz - getting noisy and fairly ineffective on 6V.
I've got Graupner thrusters on Gry Maritha - very noisy, and even with the voltage potted down to 7.2V they cavitate on full throttle

Next stop Raboesch

UPDATE #2
I got board the other day and took the thruster gears out and had another go at the problem area , i have now roughed up the end of the shaft and re glued the gear back on , yep it's stuck  so a water test will be on the cards this week .
If it holds then fine but i still think a new one will be needed.
