'Models of Unusual Boats' <pedantic mode off>
« on: February 12, 2010, 12:17:32 pm »

Just flicking through old magazines, Lulonga and  The Novgorod must be 'right up there' in the most unusual modelled boat category.

Martin,

How did you post the very large picture of Lulonga? I thought there was an 800x600 limit or am I labouring under a misaprehension?

Or you could try a model of the ferry Kalakala subject of a massive preservation attempt in the USA.  It is a true art-deco streamliner and unique, worth savuing IMHO.

Latest news on Kalakala is that she has been sold in lieu of berthing fees.
