Tyne models
« on: March 14, 2010, 01:17:12 am »

I am trying to buy parts for my shoalbuster tugs after I had a break in to my shed
and the little vandals smashed things up but never stole anything,
E-Mailed Tyne Models but have had no reply, I can't travel to boat shows  because
I have to to care for the wife 24/7, so unless they reply, I am stuffed with 2 tugs
needing parts.

I too tried to contact them once by email and never got a reply.

Sometime later I saw them at a boat show and they were very polite and helpful, when I explained I had tried to contact them and got no reply they apologised and said they must of been busy or out with their boats with a cheeky / polite chuckle!

They seem to be genuine guys who love boats.

I just tried the website and it didn't come up. Maybe not trading anymore, I know they were hard to get hold of. Shame if they have.

It would appear that there had been issues with the website and getting it back up, but back up they are..

Tyne have been in touch with the Model Boat Convention Committee informing us they will be attending this years show.

They have been having huge problems with their website, now sorted.

Yep,
Were selling stuff off at Haydock. They intimated that they may be selling up,but cannot be certain. One was Flying Tempest display model and another semi kit which was up for around £150.I only know this as I have been kicking myself frequently for not taking  the offer!

Has anyone got a contact number or email address for them? Numbers and email address don't seem to work on the banners they had on there stall.
I did try and purchase last year but my cheque was never cashed and I never received a boat.

I have a customer in S.Korea that wanted to buy 4x Kits.
Many Thanks
Jack
