Can't wait for you to get this done. My project is on hold cause the wonderful instructions really don't explain stuff very well. Waiting for your walkthrough to be done. Can't wait to see it past page 9

Hi Jan,

It's rained so much over here in the last two days, and the weather man say we've got two more days of it.... I may just need to open the front door to water test her!

Martin.  ;D

Didn't get to the water today, electronics stop play.
Bradders found an interference problem with involved taking the motor out and attaching a capacitor suppressor kit.
All OK now.

Just left with a few bit of tinkering here and there....

Bit of a list there. Is that why the photo shows Martin's truss to hand?

Yes, quite a bit of a list .......   :o

It a bit tricky ballasting her as we will have to remove all the ballasting before sending her to Germany to reduce the shipping costs.
Currently she is ballested down with 4 'gell cells' and she still wasn't fully down to her water line!

Anyone give us a few thoughts about ballasting this / flat bottom displacement vessels?

( The "truss" is my good mate Doug's launching craddle, which turned out to be essencial as is the first picture, the Puffer is actually floating 2 inches above the lakes landing stage! Thanks again Doug. )

Happy to be of service (bill is in the post  :o ) good job the water wasn't any deeper. (Must read the tide tables before Sunday's session.

I trust (no pun intended) Jan will be pleased with his ballastless (sp???) Puffer. A real nice build I thought.

I hope Bradders didn't get his suit too wet.

Cheers

Doug

Very nice Martin, but has anyone noticed how far up Bradders boots the water is. She's sitting on the bottom. Wont sink like that. ;D
