This might already have been discussed, so forgive me if it has already,... but on the Sunday there was a car boot sale at the entrance area to the park. creating a massive influx of visitors into the park.
I don't know if this added to an increase in passers by at the pondside on the Sunday, seemed to be quite hectic, but did note a few comments from people viewing our display. "We didn't know this was on and only stumbled upon it by accident" was the concensus from these. Now this might just be isolated people on other campsite areas within the park, but advertisement is everything, so, can I ask Martin et al., had Whicksteed been asked. or would permit extra signage to be put up around the park advertising the dispalys? Say, one around where the car booot sale was, or entrance to park if that were to occur next year, which would have given a clear messsage out to thousands of casual visitors that there was an additional event worth seeing.
I beleive that our roped off Mayhem area indicated to other groups we were Mayhemmers, without them realising what we were there for, or doing at the pond.
Once again, great weekend great camaraderie and must remember not to drink with the big lads (Gingyers and Bri's finger widths are the equivelent of two of my spindly digits and so no wonder I was seeing double till 3pm next day....

). Please don't hang me if this is already in hand/discussed....I'm still fragile form the weekend
