Ice???? Ice????
Awa an bile yer heid man!!!!
Never add waater oh any form to the amber nectar  %% {-) {-)
Hydrolosis releases the true flavour of the wood, try it, a measure in the glass (a nice heavy crystal glass, dunno why it just tastes better) usually two fingers in height (or 3 fingers if you live North of the border cos they are a very generous lot up there  :-)) ) add one ice cube per finger, so that's 2 or 3 cubes, allow it to melt completely, swirl the glass (taking care not to spill any of the precious contents) and taste, then in another glass add neat Whisky and taste immediately, now which one tastes the best.....answers to Bill on a postcard please, hic  {-)

All this talk of whisky is making me thirsty.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made me feel so welcome at Wicky, nice to meet you all.

And thanks for the effort that went into arranging the event.

Being an ex navy man, I like a tot of rum or two or three of four. Could have done with some at Wicky, would have made the chin wag a bit more. I still had a good time though. A big thank you to the organisers and to everyone who turned up. :-))

As long as it is the right brand and drunk from a tin mug...maybe bring it to Wiki next year if I can slip across the border without papers.

Is Haggi the plural of Haggis or is it the other way round ?
I think you may have left one down at Wickies, I was down there the other day testing my new boat and saw something furry skulking in the bushes  :} Turned to get a better look but it was gone in a flash !

This might already have been discussed, so forgive me if it has already,... but on the Sunday there was a car boot sale at the entrance area to the park. creating a massive influx of visitors into the park.

I don't know if this added to an increase in passers by at the pondside on the Sunday, seemed to be quite hectic, but did note a few comments from people viewing our display.   "We didn't know this was on and only stumbled upon it by accident" was the concensus from these.  Now this might just be isolated people on other campsite areas within the park, but advertisement is everything, so, can I ask Martin et al., had Whicksteed been asked. or would permit extra signage to be put up around the park advertising the dispalys? Say, one around where the car booot sale was, or entrance to park if that were to occur next year, which would have given a clear messsage out to thousands of casual visitors that there was an additional event worth seeing.

I beleive that our roped off Mayhem area indicated to other groups we were Mayhemmers, without them realising what we were there for, or doing at the pond.

Once again, great weekend great camaraderie and must remember not to drink with the big lads (Gingyers and Bri's finger widths are the equivelent of two of my spindly digits and so no wonder I was seeing double till 3pm next day.... %% %% %% ). Please don't hang me if this is already in hand/discussed....I'm still fragile form the weekend  {-)

Hello friends MARTIN I am Gazou, my admiration for your organization, I know as that is difficult! I make the same thing in France at the same date and we had a time excécrable us too. We could make sail the thermal motor boats. We would like that from English come to see us, we organize also visits of the area and visits of restaurants ...... for 70 € the week for housing If we know the date rather quickly, and the place later we organize with some French a visit for your rally 2012 and some beautiful boats, my EDDA FONN and giant RIVA  it that you saw in WarwicK. be very afraid when my glance with considering your hat in l' water! quickly j' looked under my computer to see whether you were still alive. But the English have l' practice to live under l' water

Gentlemen,
A cask strength single malt needs a drop of the old H2O to bring out the full flavour of the whisky,
It also brings the alcohol % down to about 40 to 46% which is the average strength.  :-))
I have been known to put a wee drop of starch in my Whisky, but only when I'm in need of a good stiff drink  :D :} {-) {-) {-)
